Look who's rolling over.

Aiden started rolling over this past Sunday. And, he hasn't stopped yet.

(Oh, excuse Aiden's manners. HA!)

Mmm.... Cereal.

    We offically started Aiden on cereal. Seeing him take that first bite was the one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Bless his heart...  Here are a few pictures.

3 Months

Aiden you are 3 months old!

You weigh about 18 lbs!

You are wearing 6 month clothes now. You are getting so big.

You have graduated to a size 3 diaper!

Aiden this month has been a blast! You are smiling at everything and everyone. You think daddy is hilarious, you will laugh every time he talks to you. Aiden, you love your exersaucer and it's so much fun watching you play in it. You are trying to roll over. Which you haven't totally grasped just yet but, I am sure you will get it soon. You also have what looks like two little teeth trying to come through. You want to chew on everything and, love to blow bubbles. You also have become so so cuddly. I almost never want to put you down. You only like taking naps in your swing. But, when it comes to bed time you are ready for your bed. You have only been getting up about once a night. YAY! You also surprised us and slept all night a couple of weeks ago. It was so awesome! We love you more and more every day. And we can not wait to see what the next month hold.

Happy 26th Birthday to the most amazing man God could have ever blessed me with.

Stephen has told me once you get a certain age you should get a birthday season. HA! So that is exactly what we did. We went out all by ourselves the Sunday before to Macaroni Grill. It was so nice to get to go on a well needed and deserved date. (I love dating my husband!) Then, on Tuesday I attempted to make homemade carrot cake..... One of the hubby’s favorite I must say. The thing is… I don't know how it happened but, the eggs wound up scrambling on top. It was really gross. So Betty Crocker helped the next go around. HA! Finally, on Saturday we had a family get together. It was nice to see my hubby getting to just relax for a change.

Stephen is such a great father. He loves teaching our child the basics of life. Like, how to play games on the playstation.

Two month check-up.

Today we had Aiden's two month check-up. Get this. Aiden weighed in at.... 14.6lbs! And he is 24 in. long!

What a big boy we have! Dr. B. said Aiden was healthy as can be. Aiden also had his first round of shots. I teared up a little bit when he started screaming. I mean, I knew what was coming and, I figured he would cry. But, it was this feeling of helplessness I got when he started crying out of pain. It's crazy... All these new feelings I have with being a mommy. It's a kind of love I can't explain.

Two months!

Aiden you are two months old!

What have you been up to this month so far?

You weigh about twelve pounds! And, you wear mostly three month clothes.

You are in a size one diaper but, I have a feeling we maybe putting on size two's very soon.

You have started to smile at everything we do. You even so have started to laugh a little bit. It is so sweet.

You have started going to bed about seven thirty. Only getting up about once sometimes twice. And, sleeping till about six thirtyish. My dear child you also FIGHT sleep like there is no tomorrow. You do not take naps well.  You are also eating every four to five hours. Aiden, you have become SO alert. You pay attention to everything we do. You are growing so fast. And, we can't wait to see how you grow this next month.

Our Labor Day.

  Labor day weekend was VERY lazy for us. Which was kind of nice since we have hardly had any down time since having Aiden. It started off Saturday with my family (Nonnie, Pop and Aunt Manda) coming down for the day to visit the baby and watch a little bit of football. That's right folks we are Vols fans. 

  

   The rest of the weekend was spent inside vegging out on the couch since tropical storm Lee dropped about 6 inches of rain on us. Lee also has brought colder weather.  It has been in the upper fifties ALL day today. All this colder weather is getting me in the mood for fall. Hope everyones having a great week

Welcome friends

Welcome friends... After much debating we have decided that we wanted to start sharing with friends and family (mostly grandparents) what exciting things Aiden does during the week. Since babies grow so fast we want to be able to look back a year from now and see all that has happened. For example: Aiden tried to sing with mommy. (excuse my voice)
